I love tuna sandwich - with mayo and cucumber with a dash of pepper and of course lettuce. I wanted to change the taste of my sandwich so I made curried tuna sandwich. Here is what I did and I am sure you will enjoy it too:
Ingredients: 1 can Tuna, 1 tbsp oil, few cumin seed, half of medium onion(diced), a clove of garlic(diced), dash of chilli powder(optional), 1 tsp of garam masala, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 small diced tomato, salt to taste and cilantro.
How to: Heat oil in a frying pan, add cumin seed, onion, garlic and chilli powder, saute for a minute, add garam masala, turmeric and diced tomato, stir in tuna and salt to taste. Cook for 3 minutes on medium heat. Add fresh cilantro and its ready to eat.
You can make a sandwich , use as filling in a pita bread, spread over rice and eat or eat it with naan. Or eat it with whatever you like. Happy eating.
